Dinosaurs return at the Eden Project
Details: Step into a prehistoric world this summer as Dinosaurs Return to the Eden Project. Explore the Rainforest Biome and discover life-sized dinosaurs and flying reptiles, including a towering Tyrannosaurus rex, hidden raptors and soaring pterosaurs. Families can also enjoy a live dinosaur show, hands-on fossil activities, storytelling sessions and interactive exhibits. Included with Eden Project admission.

NMMC Maritime Adventures
Details: All aboard for an unforgettable family adventure this summer! Discover what maritime fun awaits when you step into the pop-up indoor play space. Throughout the summer holidays, special events bring the adventure to life. You might just come face to face with a magical mermaid or be swept away by a storytelling Sailor with tales of Cornwall’s coast. The Summer holiday activities are FREE as part of the Museum’s annual admission fee. Pay once and get in free for a year.

Summer at Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery
Details: Pick up a passport to the land of myth and legend and enjoy a summer packed with free family activities at Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery. Alongside the Cornish Myths & Legends exhibition, families can take part in creative crafts, storytelling, mythical creature activities, owl sketching sessions, trails and interactive displays throughout the museum. Collect passport stamps during visits for the chance to earn a reward and enter a competition. All activities are free, with no booking required.

Falmouth Week
Details: Falmouth Week is a major attraction for locals and visitors alike. With its origins as a local sailing regatta dating back as far as 1837, the week has evolved into one of the major sailing competitions in the South West as well as an opportunity for sailors and landlubbers to enjoy the many daytime and evening activities in the town.

Or, explore the wide variety of family friendly activities in the heart of Falmouth on The Moor and Events Square, including a vintage hand-turned carousel, music from local musicians, an eclectic market, Falmouth Art Gallery workshops and a buzzing atmosphere! There’s also a full week of evening entertainment within the Waterfront Marquee organised by Southwest Bars and Events, ranging from the famous 80’s and 00’s night to Ska night!

Summer Fete Activities - Wheal Martin
Details: Take part in a range of creative activities as part of our celebration of the many carnivals, festivals and feast days of Cornwall’s Clay Country area.
You could make a carnival float out of clay or paper, make and decorate your own crown or bunting or paint a ceramic tile as a memento of your visit.
Also have fun with the traditional lawn games and summer fete challenges around the museum grounds during your visit. No booking required, just drop in and take part during your visit – information provided at admissions desk.
