Details: Join us for DadVentures Planting Day with The Grower—dig in, get dirty, and grow some fun together!
We’re calling all Dads, Fathers, StepDads, Farther like figures! Join DadVentures and The Grower for a fun, hands on morning of tree planting for you and your children (both young and old) can enjoy! Together, we’ll help grow a healthier, greener future while learning about nature, biodiversity, and how small actions can make a big environmental impact.
This relaxed, dad and child friendly session is perfect for anyone who loves being outdoors, getting muddy, and making a positive difference.
These half term activities are included in Museum admission, under 5s FREE.

The Sea Show
Details: A delightful family show by the brilliant Squashbox Theatre
Dive into The Sea Show, a wonderfully eccentric blend of puppetry, seaside storytelling and playful comedy that brings the ocean to life in the most imaginative way.
Meet a whole crew of colourful seaside characters, including Morwenna the not‑so‑modest mermaid, Ruan the once‑troublesome seagull with a new outlook on life, and the rugged Captain Pemburthy. They’re joined by a lively assortment of cheeky sea creatures—from sprightly squirts and anemones to crabs, limpets and pilchards!
Join the adventure as the show splashes together tall tales, slapstick humour, fascinating marine facts, music and songs. It’s a joyful celebration of the coast that keeps both children and adults thoroughly entertained.
Beloved by audiences of all ages, The Sea Show is praised for its clever puppetry, relaxed performance style and gently mischievous humour.
