Halloween Creativity
Details: Decorate a ceramic pumpkin & paint a t-shirt
This autumn and winter, children and families are invited to get creative at Morrab Library in Morrab Gardens. These special workshops are designed to encourage imagination, self-expression, and festive fun—all in a welcoming, playful setting.
🎃 October Half-Term – Halloween Special
We’ll be painting ceramic pumpkins to take home and enjoy. Plus, every child will receive a set of free pens to keep the creativity flowing long after the workshop. Creatives of all ages are also invited to design their own t-shirt, with autumn and Halloween stencils available for a festive touch.

Free Halloween Fun - Cornwall Gold
Details: Join us for our spooktacular Halloween activity, to solve a gruesome crime that’s buried in time!
Step back to 1873, when Tolgus worker and Bal Maiden Tamara Treen mysteriously drowned in the Tolgus Stream. Was it an accident? A curse? Or something darker?
Pick up your free detective map as you enter Cornwall Gold and follow the clues around our site to uncover the truth behind this ghostly crime and the cursed tin. Solve the murder mystery and claim your official detective sticker!
Along the way, you can also step inside our ancient tin mill, dress up as a Bal Maiden or tin miller, pan for gold and discover more about Cornwall’s fascinating past.

Watersports fun at the lake - Time2move
Details: A variety of fun water-based activities, from sailing, to paddleboards, kayaks or maybe even raft-building on the secret island in the middle of the lake! Activities will cater for the ages and interests of the participants on the day but will include at least two different types.
Breakfast or lunch will be served to children before they head out onto the water but we're also a fully accessible site with lakeside cafe for parents and carers to refresh themselves while they watch the hubbub on the water. All required safety equipment will be provided but please bring water shoes, towels and a change of clothes - we've hot showers, changing rooms and lockers included.
