Details: Cornish artist Matthew Robins combines shadow puppets and songs to tell stories about animals, monsters, the sea, love, and death.

Joined on-stage by puppeteer Tim Spooner, this home-made variety show features the shadow-puppet adventures of regular characters Flyboy and Mothboy, as well as some new characters for 2025.  There will be made-up games, jokes about skeletons, songs about sausages, competitive audience puppet-making (with prizes), and it will all be NICE!

PondLife! at Cotehele Quay

Details: Discover weird and wonderful creatures in the pond at Cotehele Quay with monthly drop-in, pond dipping sessions. Booking not needed. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue. 

Join us as we hunt for the creatures which live in (and on!) the pond. Watch the water closely, or have a go at pond dipping, and identify any insects, fish, or amphibians you may find.

First come first served as limited space on the pond platform.

Meet at the Pond Dipping platform located behind the car park at Cotehele Quay.

A Wicked Night

Details: CPW host an evening of family friendly entertainment for all in Bodmin.

After two successful shows one being Callington and one in Bodmin CPW will be back this autumn bringing family friendly entertainment for all. The show will be back at The Pad/Equally Abled based in Bodmin and will feature local star Big Sam, Cornwall Women’s Champion Sasha K as well as Cameron Merchant and the returning Kelly Sixx. Accessible for wheelchairs via path at front entrance or via back door. Disabled toilet available. Lots of staff available for ease of moving any chairs or assisting.
