CAST OFF summer 2026

Butterfly Ball - Treslothan Church

Travel Journals - Summer at Kresen Kernow
Details: Inspired by our current exhibition all about journeys, we are going to be making travel journals this summer at Kresen Kernow, on Tuesday 18 August, 10am-12pm.
Learn how to make a simple softback book from scratch, including how to attach pages together using a long arm stapler. Look through old photographs, maps and tickets from train travel in Cornwall and let this inspire you to make a travel journal.
In case you’re wondering, a travel journal is a book you can write any story in that involves a journey, from your daily walk to school or work, travelling to the beach or travelling out of Cornwall. You can take your journal home and fill it with stories of your travels.
This activity is part of our family crafts programme and all ages are welcome. The activity is free and drop-in.
