Word Art - Fun Foaming Printing
Details: Inspired by letterpresses, make your own design to print from using foam letters and shapes. You could write your name, a Cornish word or an inspirational quote. Make lots of prints from your design using coloured paints and take it home to hang up. This simple but effective activity will help you discover how printed books were made using a letterpress.
This activity is inspired by our exhibition ‘Cornwall in Print’ – have a go at the exhibition trail to learn more about how books and newspapers were printed in Cornwall and see original letterpress pieces.
