About FIS

Concerned about a child now?
Cornwall's Family Information Service (FIS) is a free and impartial support service. It gives information on local services for children and young people. It is for children aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, SEND). Children and their families can use this site to find childcare and things to do. 
📅 Applications for 2027 school places are now open

Infant/Primary School
Parent and carers of children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 can now apply for an Infant/primary school place for September 2027.
Applications close on 15th January 2027

Secondary School 
Parents and carers of children born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 can now apply for a secondary school place for September 2027.
Applications close on 31st October 2026.
